A town setting was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Story
Solve the mystery of a mid-US town that traps anyone who enters it. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. Known as Beaver Bank Villa, it has a long history and was once home to residences, a community center, a fire station, a school, a church, a grocery store, etc.
When Boyd makes his way to a remote tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well
(all demolished by 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. All that remains are the cobblestone streets and driveways, and a fake town has been built on top of them. A rope is thrown to him (presumably) by Martin in the room above, despite his wrists being chained together.

Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingstone and Ray Evans Performed by The Pixies. Much better than I thought based on some of the negative reviews here. So good I watched the first two seasons in a long weekend.
Very enjoyable and fun show
Can’t wait for the third season. Great introduction to a series somewhat reminiscent of Lost and Wayward Pines but different enough that I don’t feel like I’m watching the same show. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes horror/detective with a bit of gore.
One of the better series I’ve seen recently
I just hope there are more seasons, or at least enough to answer all the questions I still have.
